I’m a 3D Artist / Technical Artist seeking to launch my career in an environment where I can apply my skills and continue developing my craft.

Bilingual Abitur
I graduated from Besselgymnasium Minden with an Abitur focused on math and English.

2018 – 2019
Mechanical Engeneering Bachelors Degree (discontinued)
The degree is a work-integrated study program alternating three months of study at FH Bielefeld – Campus Minden with three months at my partner company Gerresheimer Bünde, where I worked in the construction bureau.
I dropped out at 3. Semester, due to high levels of stress and feeling constrained.

2020 – 2025
Integrated Design Bachelors Degree
Hochschule für Künste Bremen offered an open, less scholastic environment, fostering my autodidactic skills and ability to structure self-directed projects. Guided by my own curiosity and ideas, I explored a diverse range of crafts, technologies and software.
I got in touch with international students across creative media, as well as professors who later became mentors.
Ultimately, I found myself in the work with 3D software.

At WeDigIt, my student job provided access to the latest technology, enabling me to drive digitalisation at my university and supporting other students realize their projects, a letter of recommendation is available here.

Career in 3D
At the moment, I prioritize skill development over specific projects. With a solid foundation in 3D software, I am looking for a way to employ my skills, while also leaving room to expand into related fields like computer graphics, shaders, programming, maths, physics, augmented reality or game engines. Currently, I am seeking a workplace that can offer exactly that!
Skills

3D
The power to create anything within and beyond the confines of reality is what captivates me about 3D artistry. It motivates me to learn about new tools and improve my skills, making me a versatile 3D generalist.
My skillset includes:
hardsurface and procedual modelling, compositing, rendering, sculpting, animating, texturing, baking, UV mapping, material creation, as well as cloth and physics simulation

English
Though German is my native language, I primarily consume English media, like tutorials, podcasts, or books.
Learning English has always been a part of my life, whether in after-school classes, bilingual Abitur or at university interacting with international students.
I feel confident speaking, reading and writing in English.

Game Engines
Most of my work was in the Unity Game Engine, with some limited use of the Unreal Game Engine.
I have experience in object-oriented development, creating logic through visual scripting, implementing animation systems, importing 3D assets, version control systems using SourceTree, designing particle systems, as well as developing materials, using Unity’s Shader Graph.
I am accustomed to the process of debugging and have built prototype apps for Android.

Presenting & Instructing
I have presented and instructed on multiple occasions, including tutoring students on software use at my university, guiding people through the use of hardware at my student job at WeDigIt, presenting my bachelor’s thesis at my university, and showcasing my bachelor’s prototype at AWE 2024.
Public speaking is generally something I deal well with.

Augmented Reality
3D Software enables the creation of virtually anything, but its potential is confined to the computer screen. AR offers the opportunity to make digital creations come to life in the real world. A powerful idea, that inspired me to learn about the technology.
In my Bachelor Thesis, I developed a prototype of a product, which enabled digitally created 3D content, to become wearable on your body. I learned about current AR software and explored it’s potential and limitations.
By attending to AWE 2024 I got to learn about state-of-the-art hardware, industry leaders, start-ups and current trends.

Aesthetics
I believe to have an eye for harmony, proportion and alignment, that evoke tranquility, unity and beauty.
This fascination with Aesthetics plays a role in all of my projects and drives my pursuit of calligraphy as a personal interest.

3D Printing
I have several years of 3D printing experience and am proficient in the process of creating 3D models with CAD software, like Inventor or Fusion360, using slicing software and post-processing prints.
My projects include housings, adapters, mechanical components and custom parts.

Miscellaneous
Over time, I have accumulated a variety of skills, which I am adept at varying degrees, those include:
electronics, 3D scanning and clean up, material digitalization, sewing and the software CLO3D.
